Great restaurant, will be returning!! Our food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and so flavorful. All the staff was very hospitable and kind. Also, I love that the menus stay at the table under the glass, very smart!! They stay clean and I could easily go back and re-read about my dishes OR think about what to order next time
My sister recommended this place and we enjoyed our experience here. We ordered Lamb masala, chicken coconut kurma, saag paneer and everything was good. The curries were delicious. We ordered all mild spiciness and the spiciness was very light and still delicious. The service was excellent. We have a water pitcher to refill our own waters and they made sure everything was okay at our table. We will definitely be back whenever we come to salt lake city
I cannot get enough of this wonderful restaurant. Sometimes I get the chicken tikka masala, sometimes I get the saag aloo, every time I am completely satisfied. My friend really likes the vindaloo, another friend of mine likes the coconut korma. I believe any dish you get from Royal India will give you a smile. Don't forget your naan!

I've been dining at Royal Indian for 20 years. The Indian cuisine is divine. This family owned local restaurant orders thier spices directly from Indian. The atmosphere is casual and the staff is friendly and efficient. If you want to try one of their delicious deserts be sure to ask when ordering your dinner... Definitely my favorite Indian Restaurant in the greater Salt Lake area.
Food loving friends: If you are a fan of Indian Cuisine, then do I have a place for you! Royal India in Sandy is my current food OBSESSION. We've been eating there almost weekly for a couple of months now. I get their Lamb Boti Masala and my partner gets their Lamb Coconut Korma... y'all it is heaven in a bowl. Their rice is so fragrant and delicious I could eat just that by itself and be happy. The portions are amazing, their naan is amazing, I could drink 7 mango lassi's and never get tired of them. Their staff treats you like family, and the atmosphere is so charming. Don't feel like going out? They're also available on DoorDash. Trust me friends. If you like Indian food, you will NOT be disappointed.
